One of the many things to do in Pattaya is a visit to Sri Racha Tiger zoo, which is about 40 minutes from Pattaya city center, just off the road to Bangkok. This 100 acre site was first open to the public in April 1997 after aggressive advertising campaigns and is a must see for tourists visiting Pattaya.

There are at least 2500-3000 visitors a month and it is a favorite for Korean tourists to Thailand and school kids from the nearby schools. Sri Racha has about 400 tigers and are still breeding them in more numbers as they also supply them to other zoos that neither breed nor keep white tigers. And because zoo also keeps others animals like crocodile, pigs, etc, they also have an animal show in the afternoon, so if you are planning to go there, find out the times of the animal show from your booking agent.

In Pattaya, you can book a half day trip to Sri Racha Tiger Zoo from the many tour operators in town or you book it through your hotel or guesthouse, normally they will charge about 100-150 baht for transport to get there and then you will pay 300baht to get in. you can also get there by yourself choosing any type of transport that you prefer and you will only pay the entrance charge. So, make sure that Sriracha Tiger Zoo is among the many things you are going to do while in Pattaya.
