Ten-pin bowling is as popular in Pattaya as it is in other major cities around the world. In the district that stretches from North to South Pattaya there are no less than five bowling alleys where fans of the game can play a few games.
Thais also enjoy the game and the crowds at the alleys are usually a mix of local residents and holidaymakers, and foreign tourists and expats. The bowling alleys are air-conditioned and have counters serving snacks and beverages as scoring multiple strikes can be thirsty work.
PS Bowl is probably the most well-known of Pattaya’s establishments where players can play 10-pin bowling. The 32 lanes here are occasionally used to stage regional and world championship competitions, but are mostly available for the general public to use. Instructors are on hand to advise beginners on styles and the optimum balls for players.
PS Bowl is on the upper floor of PS Plaza, above TOPS Supermarket, on Pattaya Third Road. Opening times are from 10:00 to 02:00 and information is available at psbowlingpattaya@psbowling.com.
