The Avenue Shopping Centre in Pattaya

Although most local residents and foreign tourists buy their souvenirs and fake designer clothes at stalls and shops along Pattaya’s picturesque promenade, there are a number of locations which offer a more relaxed buying experience in air-conditioned comfort. Central Festival, Factory Outlet Mall, the Avenue and Mike Shopping Mall are among the better known of these venues in Pattaya.

The Avenue Pattaya is on Second Road near the Dusit Hotel and at the heart of the shopping precinct. It is home to lots of boutiques and brand name stores such as Adidas and Puma as well as outlets of Starbucks, McDonald’s and Au Bon Pain. Those looking for a spot of home cooking will find the carvery or a steak at Shenanigans Irish Pub followed by a pint of draught Guinness fits the bill nicely.

The Avenue is also an entertainment complex with a multi-screen cinema that shows all the latest blockbuster releases, a karaoke bar and the Blu-O 10-pin Bowling Alley. Global fitness chain California WOW is represented in the Avenue and has state-of-the-art fitness and cardio equipment. Yoga, kickfit and aerobics can all be enjoyed in the fitness centre. The Avenue Pattaya is open daily from 10:00 to 23:00, but Shenanigans and some of the entertainment venues close later.
